Osteria LuCa
Restaurant This 3,500 square foot restaurant in the popular Park Road Shopping Center was completely transformed after the previous tenant of almost 40 years vacated the space. The old building and configuration of the tenant suite presented many challenges, as it required an extremely narrow and creative kitchen design, and an addition on the back of the building for a new walk-in cooler.
The Osteria LuCa concept was inspired by traditional neighborhood restaurants found throughout Italy. Clean lines, high ceilings, terracotta accents, natural wood tones, and a variety of decorative light fixtures generate the warm and inviting atmosphere of authentic osteria’s. A major part of the renovation included revising the main façade and entry to maximize daylight and functionality within the interior. A new floor-to-ceiling storefront system now draws patrons in to the lively bar and dining room as they walk through the shopping center.
